Terms of Use

Last updated: September 10, 2026

This page describes TrustCircuit’s actual current practices in plain language.

Acceptance of terms

By using this website, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please don’t use the site. These terms apply to the website only — a separate, explicit agreement governs any actual testing engagement.

Not professional advice

Content on this site — including the Trust Gap Check tool and the Insights articles — is provided for general informational purposes only. It does not constitute legal advice, financial advice, a compliance certification, banking services, fiduciary services, or a security audit. TrustCircuit is not a law firm, accounting firm, bank, trust company, fiduciary, or regulatory certification body. Nothing on this site guarantees that fraud or operational risk will be identified or prevented.

The Trust Gap Check tool

The assessment at /risk-check is a directional, educational self-assessment. It is not an audit, a legal conclusion, a compliance certification, or confirmation that fraud is occurring. Results are calculated in your browser and are not reviewed by TrustCircuit unless you separately choose to discuss them with us.

Engagements are separate agreements

Nothing on this website is an offer to enter into a testing engagement. Actual engagements — a Single-Flow Audit, an Abuse Surface Audit, Fractional Head of Trust & Safety, or any custom scope — are governed by a separate signed scope and authorization letter covering scope, fees, timeline, and confidentiality, agreed to before testing begins.

Intellectual property

The content, design, and branding of this site belong to TrustCircuit LLC unless otherwise noted. You may not reproduce or redistribute it for commercial purposes without permission.

No warranties

This site is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrustCircuit LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of this website. Liability terms for a paid engagement are set out separately in that engagement’s written agreement.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the site and business evolve. The date at the top of this page reflects the most recent update.
