Chargeback cost = Annual GMV × Chargeback rate

This assumes none of those chargebacks are successfully represented and won back.

Dispute handling cost = Monthly disputes × 12 × Average handling cost

Account-takeover loss = Monthly ATO incidents × 12 × Average loss per incident

Monthly exposure = Total annual exposure ÷ 12

Payback months = $18,000 ÷ Monthly exposure
