We test your platform the way criminals attack it.
Hands-on abuse testing across every flow in scope. You get evidence, severity ratings, a prioritized fix list, and a retest at day 90 to confirm it held.
Every abuse type in scope, 3–4 weeks. Day-90 retest included. Final investment depends on scope.
Is this the right starting point?
- Platforms that move other people's money and have never had their abuse surface tested end to end.
- Teams that ran a Single-Flow Audit and need the full picture.
- Leaders preparing for a funding round, or a board that's started asking hard questions about fraud exposure.
What typically triggers this engagement.
- Losses show up in payments, in support, in seller ops — and nobody's connected the pattern yet.
- You've never had an outside team try to break the platform the way a criminal would.
- You need a defensible, evidence-based answer to "where are we exposed" before making a bigger call.
Where we look.
- Account takeover and authentication
- Payout diversion and payment risk
- Seller, provider, and listing fraud
- Refund and dispute abuse
- Onboarding and identity verification
- Review manipulation and collusion rings
- Promo, referral, and off-platform diversion
Deliverables.
Scoping and authorization
A signed scope covers every abuse type in scope before we touch anything.
Hands-on abuse testing
We test each abuse type the way an abuser would — chained where that's how the risk works.
Evidence package
Every finding is backed by what we did, what happened, and what it proves.
Severity-rated findings
We rate every finding critical, high, medium, or low, so your team fixes the right things first.
Prioritized fix list
A sequenced list your team can act on immediately — most clients start on the top items the same week.
Findings report
We write the full evidence package for your engineers and your board alike.
Leadership readout
Decision-makers get a live readout where they review the findings and ask questions.
Day-90 retest
We come back at day 90 and confirm the fixes held.
Fixed fee, paid in two halves.
Fixed fee
The price is the price. If scope runs over, that's on us to absorb.
Paid in two halves
Half on signature, half on delivery of the report.
Founding Client Program
The first 3 Abuse Surface Audits are $11,000, in exchange for a named case study and a reference call. Open through November 30, 2026.

Boundaries and exclusions
- Abuse Surface Audit finds and proves exposure — implementation is a separate step, usually through Fractional Head of Trust & Safety or your own team.
- This isn't a code-level penetration test or a compliance audit, and it doesn't result in a certification.
- We work from a signed scope and an authorization letter for every engagement, full stop.
- We label every finding by confidence — we don't present a hypothesis as a confirmed fact.
Common questions about this engagement.
How is this different from a penetration test?
A penetration test looks for bugs in your code. We're looking at your business logic instead: payout diversion, seller collusion, refund abuse, review manipulation. None of that shows up in a vulnerability scan.
What does the day-90 retest cover?
We return to the abuse types where we found critical or high-severity issues and confirm the fix closed the gap. A closed ticket isn't the same thing, and we check for the difference.
Do you need access to our systems?
Scope is agreed and signed before we start. Some of what we test only requires public access — pages and flows anyone can reach. Other parts need scoped, authorized access — we'll tell you exactly what and why before anything happens.
